The article points out the key flaw with what Marino/Millen/Elway did or are trying to do. Ozzie Newsome is a Hall of Fame player turned successful GM. But Newsome "spent 11 years in scouting and player personnel before becoming the Baltimore Ravens' general manager in 2002."
ReplyDeleteIf Ozzie had to put in a decade's worth of work learning the job, how the hell do these other guys think they don't have to?
